Hi, Chelsea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question! Let's help you get your little guy off to sleep in a bed fit for Disney dreams.
One of my own Disney dreams came true when my family had a chance to stay at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. It was amazing! We ate with
Chef Mickey and his pals, rode the monorail to Epcot, took a boat over to the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - we were right in the middle of everything! And I really liked being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom Park, especially around the middle of the day when my 5-year-old needed a breather.
You'll see in the
descriptions of the rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort that accommodations include what they call a "daybed." That's actually a couch that easily folds down to make a small bed that's just perfect for a child. Plus, you can request bed rails from the front desk that will keep your little guy safe and secure as he snoozes. My son slept on the daybed/couch with a bed rail for five nights with no issues at all.
Chelsea, while you're making your plans, you might find
Disney's guide for parents of preschoolers and little ones handy. It's got tons of ideas for fun things to do with your little guy!
I hope this helps everyone in your family get a good night's rest after those busy Disney days, Chelsea. Please reach out to us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
