We are staying at the Contemporary Resort 12/12/09 - 12/17/09 with a waterside view. Can you hear the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom inside your room? We will have an 18 month old and I was worried that they would wake her up.

Hello Bobbi - we have stayed at the Contemporary many times and no matter what room we are in we are able to hear the fireworks.  One item we bring when we travel is a small sound conditioner - it makes the sound of a fan for white noise (a small fan would also work).  This will help sound proof any noises or at least make them less noticeable.  Also, if your daughter is like mine when she was that age, she was pooped from having so much fun during the day that when she fell asleep, she was out like a light!

I hope you enjoy your stay at the Contemporary!  Diane  :)
