We will be staying at the Contemporary Resort and I really want to have breakfast at Ohanas ine day of our trip. We are early risers but i see the monorail doesnt operate until 30 minutes prior to park opening. How can we get to the Poly earlier?

    Howdy Jessi!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about early morning transportation to 'Ohana. That is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so glad you're going to have the chance to enjoy the Best Friends Breakfast Featuring Lilo & Stitch during your upcoming vacation. If you haven't done so already, be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463 to secure a reservation for this incredibly popular dining establishment. It is not guaranteed that 'Ohana can accommodate walk-ups due to their popularity and I'd hate for you to be turned away. (Although, if that were to happen, I would simply suggest Kona Cafe or Capt. Cook's as alternatives in the same hotel. They offer excellent breakfasts too.)

As for getting from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you are correct that the monorail is the best mode of transportation for this journey. When you check in at Disney's Contemporary Resort, ask them when monorail service will begin on the morning of your breakfast. If it is not running early enough, I suggest you head right out the front entrance of Disney's Contemporary Resort and hop in a taxi. The ride to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is incredibly short (less than two miles) and will cost you less than $10.

Have an amazing breakfast at 'Ohana and please say "hello" to Stitch for me!

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
