Staying at the Contemporary Resort and have purchased tickets on line....how do we get our magic bands ? Do we get them mailed ? As thought resort hotel guests get them for free ...thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kevin!

You must be getting so excited about your upcoming spring adventure at Walt Disney World Resort. By staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, you will certainly be situated in the middle of the magic. That's where I stayed on my first trip to Walt Disney World forty years ago. I have always loved watching the monorail glide right through the Grand Canyon Concourse. There's no place quite like it anywhere in the world. You're going to love it!

Your MagicBands will be mailed to you at the address on your reservation approximately one month prior to your arrival date. Before that, you should customize your MagicBands at the Walt Disney World Resort homepage by choosing your preferred name and color for each one. At the homepage, click on "My Disney Experience" on the upper right side of the screen. Then choose "MagicBands and Cards" from the drop-down menu that appears. The resulting screen will walk you through the process of confirming the shipping address for your MagicBands and then customizing them. You can make sure the theme park admission tickets you purchased online are linked to your MagicBands by clicking on "My Reservations and Tickets" under "My Disney Experience." If the tickets and the MagicBands show up under your account, they are linked.

Don't forget to make your FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance of your arrival. That's another benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Feel free to let us know if you need any guidance with this process. We'd love to help.

    Best wishes,
