I am staying at the Contemporary Resort prior to a Bahamian cruise. How do I know of a good time to make breakfast reservations if I won't receive ground transfer information until the night prior? Is there a normal time for port transfers?

    Hi Brenda!

Congratulations on your Disney Surf and Turf Vacation! You are simply going to LOVE it!

If you plan on making breakfast reservations at a sit down restaurant the morning of your departure, I recommend making them no later 8:30 a.m. at either The Wave Restaurant or Chef Mickey's. The Disney Cruise Line motorcoach will typically pick up Disney Resort Hotel Guests anywhere from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. However, if only a few Guests are being picked up from Disney's Contemporary Resort that morning, you might have an earlier departure time.

The Disney Cruise Line motorcoach will generally make several stops at the various Disney Resort Hotels for Guests cruising that day. Luggage is not generally taken on the coaches, but rather it goes by truck and is usually picked up from your hotel room at about 8:00 a.m. But if for some reason you miss turning over your luggage by that time, there's no good reason it couldn't go under the bus with you. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Wishing you a most magical Disney Surf and Turf Vacation!
