Staying at the Contemporary resort and planing to walk to the Magic kingdom for the 8:00 keys to the kingdom tour. Will I be able to get through security and into the park on time if I’m walking?

Welcome to my fellow Pennsylvanian! It’s great to have you back at planDisney, Carol! Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of the most magical “extras” available at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I would allow 15 minutes to walk leisurely from Disney’s Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. If you’re a faster walker, it might not take that long, but it’s always good to build in a little extra time when getting from place to place. Guests should arrive 15 minutes before for their reservation time for Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Be sure to build in time for the security checkpoint and entry to the park as well.

As long as you build in the time for the walk, security, and early check-in, you will have no problem arriving in time for your VIP tour of Magic Kingdom Park! You are going to love the Keys to the Kingdom Tour! Be prepared for your mind to be blown by learning some of the inside magic that makes Magic Kingdom Park such an amazing place for Guests!

    Dreams do come true!
