We are staying at the contemporary resort and need to get to the World dolphin hotel. What is the fastest way to get there and about how long will it take. Thank you!

Hi, Melissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost a month away now! You must be getting so excited! And you've chosen a truly magical place to stay with Disney's Contemporary Resort. My family is planning our second visit there soon, and there's really so much to love about it! You have incredible dining options with Chef Mickey's, The Wave...of American Flavors, and the California Grill, plus the most convenient location at Walt Disney World. And as one of the original Walt Disney World Resort hotels, it's literally a piece of Disney history.

The convenient location makes getting from the Contemporary to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel really easy, too. One option is simply walking over to the Magic Kingdom entrance and catching a Disney bus to the Dolphin. Travel time is probably 15 minutes or so, but you'll also want to build in a few extra minutes in case you need to wait for the next bus to arrive at the stop.

Another super convenient (and super cute!) option is Disney's Minnie Van Service! There's an extra charge for this service, but it's by far the quickest and most direct way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this helps you travel around Walt Disney World in style, Melissa! Hop on over again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
