Disney's Contemporary Resort is such a phenomenal resort, William. You’ve made a great choice for your resort! The best part about Disney’s Contemporary Resort in my opinion is the location. You’re quite literally within walking distance of Magic Kingdom Park. You can’t beat that!
To answer your question, William, the beverage coolers in the
Main Tower Water View rooms are suitable to store beverages and perishables. My family and I have stored milk, coffee cream, fruits, and other items in them and they work just fine. We also use them to keep our reusable water bottles cool for the morning when we leave for the parks.
The Incredibles-theming in the rooms is so fun. I especially like the pops of color. It makes the room feel fresh and vibrant! There are also some great dining locations at the resort as well.
Steakhouse 71 is great. I love the Stack Burger, which is on their lunch menu.
Chef Mickey’s is also excellent. It’s an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast or dinner buffet. Plus, you will get a visit from Mickey Mouse and his favorite pals during your dining experience. I can’t mention dining without highlighting
California Grill, located on the 15th floor of the resort. This is a Signature Dining experience, with great sweeping views of Magic Kingdom Park and the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Your visit will be during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, William. The park is beautiful with sprawling garden displays and fun Disney character topiaries. Make sure to stop by and check out the offerings during your trip!
