Splash-tastic greetings, Alisa! Thanks for swimming over to see us here at planDisney! Let's explore some of the wonderful ways to enjoy the water at the Walt Disney World Resort!
I'm so excited for you to experience
Disney's Contemporary Resort. My family has had a chance to stay there a couple of times, and oh my goodness, is it amazing! I can't imagine anything more magical than popping out of our Resort hotel and being only steps from the
Magic Kingdom Park. And sipping my morning coffee on our balcony with a view of Cinderella Castle? That's what my Disney dreams are made of!
Disney is pretty strict about limiting pool use only to Guests who are staying at each individual Disney Resort Collection hotel. I think looking forward to a swim in
Stormalong Bay is a great reason to plan a stay at
Disney's Yacht Club or
Disney's Beach Club Resorts in the future!
Alisa, while you may not be able to dive into Stormalong Bay on this trip, you'll love taking advantage of the water activities at Disney's Contemporary Resort! You can
swim and slide in your hotel pool, or relax and take in the view of Bay Lake from a comfy lounge chair. Plus, you can also
hop aboard a launch that takes you to various locations around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon if that floats your boat. It's a nice way to enjoy a cool breeze after a busy day in the Theme Parks.
And if you'd like a little more adventure in your water activities,
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is now open! Slide down Summit Plummet, compete with your pals on the Toboggan Racers, and let the kids play at Tike's Peak. It's a day full of water-logged fun!
I hope this helps your Walt Disney World vacation go swimmingly, Alisa. Please splash on by again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
