We will be staying at the contemporary resort in February. This is our first visit to disney. How do we get from the contemporary to the wilderness lodge? How long does that take.

In this case you have a couple of options to get from point A to point B.  The fastest and easiest way would be to drive yourself or take a taxi.  This option would get you there in under ten minutes.  You could also opt to travel by boat; allow about fifteen minutes to travel by ferry (plus wait time for the ferry to arrive).  Of course, you could always incorporate the monorail by taking it to the Magic Kingdom and transferring to a boat, but that would take longer and be more difficult.  Assuming you don't have a car on hand, the cheapest and quickest method would be to head to the marina and wait for the ferry.
