We are staying at the Contemporary Resort with our boys ages 4 and 5 in Sept. 2012. Already have the dining plan and a 5 day park hopper. What are recommendations for dining, attractions, and times of day that are easier for certain attractions?

What great planning already Tamara! Disney's Contemporary Resort is the perfect location for this vacation. The added bonus of the Park Hopper tickets means you all can change your plans anytime you want and just head on over to another resort. Good work. As for dining, well your hotel has some great food. I recently was lucky enough to enjoy wonderful meals at both The Wave Restaurant and The California Grill. Both of these meals were made with the freshest ingredients and exceeded my expectations. If you do have dinner at the California Grill you may be lucky enough to watch Wishes from this spectacular location.

As for attractions, you cannot go wrong starting at the Magic Kingdom. The whole family will enjoy classic attractions like the Jungle Cruise, the Mad Tea Party and 'it's a small world.' Moreover, you and the kids will want to meet the many Disney characters that do meet and greets at the parks. Don't forget your camera!

The best time to get to the parks to go on the rides is usually when they first open the gates. Around lunch time you may want to go back to the room for a nap or some down time and then come back to the parks later after you have refreshed and it will totally enhance the experience. Have a great trip.
