We are staying at the Contemporary Resort and would like to do the Bon Voyage breakfast. What would be the best way of getting there from the Contemporary? About how long does it take? Trying to decide the earliest to make it and still arrive on time.

    Hi Amber!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

The Bon Voyage Breakfast is one of the newest Character Dining offerings at Walt Disney World Resort, and is quickly becoming very popular with Guests. Held on select mornings at Trattoria al Forno Restaurant (located at Disney's Boardwalk), this breakfast event features Characters from favorite Disney films such as Tangled and The Little Mermaid. If you're lucky, maybe you'll get to experience "the smolder" from Flynn Rider as you're enjoying your pancakes!

With Disney's Complimentary Resort Transportation, you should have no trouble getting to a fairly early breakfast reservation to enjoy this fun dining experience! On the morning of your Bon Voyage Breakfast reservation, the buses to Disney's Hollywood Studios should begin running one hour prior to park opening (typically 9am), so the first bus should depart around 8am. My suggestion would be to arrive at the bus stop by 7:45am to to catch the first bus of the day (if your reservation is around 8:45-9:00am). Once you reach Hollywood Studios, head past the park entrance to the Friendship Boat launch, and take a short boat ride over to Disney's Boardwalk Resort area. Guests may also walk to the Boardwalk from the entrance of Hollywood Studios - it's about a 10-15 minute walk along Crescent Lake, over to the Boardwalk area, and the Trattoria al Forno Restaurant.

I hope you're able to reserve the Bon Voyage Breakfast at a time that works perfectly for you and your travel party. I hope this information is helpful. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
