Howdy, Sarah. Welcome to planDisney.
A stay at
Disney's Contemporary Resort sounds truly INCREDIBLE! I mean, you can actually walk to Magic Kingdom Park! But that's not all. This hotel has been around since Walt Disney World opened in 1971. You can't get more Walt Disney World than this hotel! There's also a monorail that runs THROUGH the hotel! After all these years, I still think that's impressive! And the dining at this resort is second-to-none. You can grab breakfast with Mickey and his pals at
Chef Mickey's. You can enjoy a nostalgic and delicious meal at the new fan-favorite,
Steakhouse 71. You can even take in spectacular views of
Seven Seas Lagoon and watch
Disney Enchantment by reserving a table at
California Grill. My wife and I ate here last summer and had some of the best sushi I've ever tasted!
If you're staying in the Main Tower, then all the rooms are newly refurbished. You'll adore the classy, yet whimsical touches inspired by The Incredibles. And of course, every hotel room needs to have the "bare necessities of life." And there's nothing more essential than coffee! You'll find a K-Cup coffee brewer in your room, along with a healthy supply of Joffrey's K-Cups (regular and decaf), as well as creamer, sugar, and stirrers. You'll also have extra cups too. If you need a break from coffee, then you'll also find Twinings tea bags. As Mrs. Potts once said, “I have found that most troubles seem less troubling after a bracing cup of tea.” As an Englishman, I heartily agree! During your stay, housekeeping will frequently replenish your coffee and tea supplies. However, if you need extra, you can always call from your in-room phone and they'll be happy to serve you.
Sarah, I hope you enjoy all the EARidescent excitement that's on offer for the
50th Anniversary Celebration. With new attractions, special shows, tasty treats, delicious drinks, dazzling decorations, and unique souvenirs, there's certainly something there that wasn't there before. Don't miss the captivating
Beacons of Magic on display in each of the Theme Parks. Enjoy the new nighttime spectaculars, Disney Enchantment, and
Harmonious. And most importantly, have a magical time at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
"Go. Live your dream."
Mike
