We will be staying at the Contemporary Resort in April 2019, and my daughters are concerned about the use of plastic with single-use containers. We decided to get a gallon jug of water to put in the fridge for drinking water, but -- will it fit?

    Hi there!

From one Carrie to another, Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad that you stopped by with your question.

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner and will be here before you know it. I'm sure you and your family are getting excited! Staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort means you'll be right in the middle of the magic and only a few steps away from Magic Kingdom Park, so I know y'all will have a fabulous time!

Staying hydrated when you're in the Florida heat is always important, so I'm glad you're already thinking about that. A gallon of water should fit in the mini refrigerator in your room, but you may just have to do a little rearranging with the shelves. I think it will work though, because these refrigerators are definitely bigger than you would think they would be. If you happen to need more water, you can usually find it sold by the gallon in Fantasia Market located inside your resort. They also have other grocery essentials that you might need too.

Carrie, I hope this helps with your planning and please let us know if you think of anything else. We are always happy to help. Have a magical day!
