Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I will be staying at the Contemporary in May with my 2 grandaughters, ages 5 and 7. If we decide to walk, how far is it to Magic Kingdom?

    Hello Sue, my fellow Georgian!!!

    The proximity that Disney's Contemporary Resort has to the Magic Kingdom is such an added bonus when staying there!!  Being able to choose from walking or taking the Monorail are such awesome choices!!

    Having actually walked the path, it is approximately a 15 minute walk depending on your pace and if the red light catches you!   The path is very well labeled and easy to follow.  Just be sure when you are leaving that you take an immediate left when exiting the park or you will end up walking in front of the buses!!  

    I know that your granddaughters will enjoy staying there in May!!  They are definitely at the right ages where that is a very manageable walk for them!!
