    Staying at the Contemporary with 2 kids in the Garden Wing/Garden View room. Was wondering about amenities in the room - fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster oven, stove, etc. Whats available? Need to know if we can bring - frozen waffles, cereal, milk,etc

    The location of the Contemporary is great!  You are just a short walk to the Magic Kingdom and you can hop on the monorail for transportation to the TTC (where you can transfer to Epcot monorail) or stay on the monorail for service to Polynesian, Grand Floridian, or all the way to the Magic Kingdom!

    The rooms are beautiful at the Contemporary.   The queen size beds and even the daybed are very comfortable.   Rooms have a mini-refrigerator and coffee maker.   Microwaves are available for use in the Contempo Cafe if you need to use one, but microwaves are not in your room.  

    If you plan to have breakfast in your room, plan on bagels, breakfast granola bars, fruit, cereal, and other quick and easy "non-cook" items!   There is a small store on the 4th floor of the Tower where you can purchase snacks and food for your room. 

    Have a great time in WDW and enjoy your stay at the Contemporary!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home.
