    We are staying at The Contemporary in January and have 7:30 reservations for Kona Cafe. When do the monorails start running and how long will it take to get there? Will we make it on time?

    Hi Lisa!

    They begin running at 7 am, and it should take 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the duration of the stops).  I'd be sure to be waiting for the monorail by 7 am to make the first train.  Enjoy Kona Cafe--it is one of traditions on vacation!
