We are staying at the Contemporary, but dining at O'hana's one night. Can we take a water taxi to/from the Polynesian and our hotel? I'm hoping to catch Wishes on the way from the water...How often do the boats depart and from where at each hotel?

Hi Barbara! If you would like to take a water shuttle from the Contemporary to the Polynesian resort you will need to transfer at the Magic Kingdom. All boat shuttles dock at this park directly in front of the entrance. Just look for the signs for the Polynesian boat and wait in that area for the next one to the resort. The trip from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom will take approximately 35 minutes. The boat trip from the park to the Polynesian resort will take about 18 minutes. Please add some wait time for the shuttles into your planning as you don't want to reach O'Hanas late for your reservation.

Each resort will have a boat shuttle area on the water. Signs will direct you to these locations or you can ask a cast member for directions. The boats will depart every 15-20 minutes the same as the buses. If you just miss one it will feel like an hour but they truly try to stay on the schedule and it isn't as long as you think!
