We are staying at the Contemporary in August and planned to go to the AK's Tusker House for breakfast at 8:20 am. Since the park opens at 9 and the buses only start operating one hour before the park opens, is it possible to catch the bus for our meal?

    Hi Elika!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! It's just around the corner now!

You'll have no problems getting to Animal Kingdom's Tusker House in time for your breakfast reservation. Although 'regular' park buses begin operating 1 hour prior to park hours, there are special buses which begin operating very early in the morning specifically to accommodate Disney Resort Hotel Guests' early breakfast reservations 'around the World!'

Simply proceed to the Contemporary Bus Depot area at about 7:20/7:30am. You'll find a Cast Member will likely be out at the bus area and will ask you where you're headed. He or she will then let you know when how soon you can expect the next bus to Animal Kingdom to arrive, or will schedule a nearby bus to make a stop for you if you're the first passengers requesting that park at that time. You'll be happily on your way to your breakfast reservation usually within 10-20 minutes!

If you don't see a Cast Member at the bus area when you get outside, pop into the lobby and let a Concierge Cast Member know that you're needing to get to your breakfast reservation at Tusker House.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Elika!
