Hi Caroline!
I stayed in a club level room at
Disney's Contemporary Resort with my own family a few weeks ago, and you are in for a huge treat. Your room will be on the 12th floor of the A-frame main building of Disney's Contemporary Resort, the very building that Disney's world-famous monorail breezes through. Your floor is technically the highest that is visible from the inside of the building's atrium level, which is where
Chef Mickey's, a few shops and the monorail entrance are located. For extra exclusivity, you'll scan your MagicBand in the elevator to get to your floor.
Regarding Atrium Club amenities, this floor includes its own concierge who is dedicated to help you with everything from making reservations to offering advice about how to best get to where you're trying to go, to so much more. You'll also have access to the Atrium Lounge, which is located on the western side of the building with a breathtaking balcony view of Magic Kingdom Park and Cinderella Castle. The lounge is open from 7 A.M. until 10 P.M. daily, however, water and non-alcoholic drink options like soda and juice are available 24 hours a day. Breakfast options like pastries and yogurt, along with a full coffee bar, are out until 10:30 A.M. Light snacks like homemade potato chips and cookies are available until 4 P.M. Appetizers like a charcuterie board, tapas sized entrees, and even options for kids like peanut butter and jelly or chicken fingers are available between 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. And a selection of desserts and cordials are presented between 8 P.M and 10 P.M. Multiple kinds of wine and beer are out after 5 P.M., but you can always ask for a glass at any time.
I hope you're now even more excited about your upcoming vacation, Caroline, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
