Hiya, Debra! I am so glad to see you back at planDisney with your vacation planning questions.
This past January, I stayed at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for
runDisney Marathon Weekend. My first marathon deserved a little pampering, so I chose a deluxe suite with
Club Access at Gran Destino Tower. The Chronos Club was just what I needed after logging all those miles.
The lounges are available to registered Guests in the room, but the floors where these rooms are located are not restricted. You are welcome to have friends visit you in your room just as you would in any other
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
I do hope you enjoy the various benefits of the lounge during your stay. I like to get up and go. Being able to stop in where the coffee was already brewing was perfect. Add an apple, and I was ready to start the day. I would grab a bottle of water to take with me to the theme parks, and I was off to
Disney Resort Transportation and the magic. The cold bottles of water were also welcomed when I stopped in after time in the parks. I was traveling solo and I enjoyed that the lounge had energy with people around but it was also peaceful. Ending the day with a delectable dessert was absolute perfection.
With the concierge service, you can also get assistance before you arrive. They will help you with
advanced dining reservations if you would like. It is a great service. My only caution is if you want some highly popular reservations, like
'Ohana or
California Grill, you may want to book these yourself. The day your
dining window opens, you can make reservations as early as 6 am, before the concierge team is at work. You may want to try for these as early as possible and ask for assistance with other reservations. Like Cast Members you meet throughout the parks and resorts, they are so helpful.
I hope all your Disney wishes come true on your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, please come back to
planDisney. You have a friend in us!
Thinking of the Happiest Things!
