Hello! We are staying CL @WL & have ADR @ Artist Point @8:50pm. If we are scheduled to land @6:45pm, have I allotted enough time? I've seen recommendations of 3 hrs from other posts-is that due to travel between resorts? Or have I cut it to close?

    Hi Angie!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and you have picked an amazing Disney Resort hotel to be your vacation "home". Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort that features amazing theming, awesome recreation options and tasty food. Plus, transportation to Magic Kingdom is so quick and easy!

When using Disney's Magical Express for your transportation from Orlando International Airport to your Disney Resort hotel, I always recommend that you allow 3 hours transportation time between the time your flight is scheduled to land and when you will be at your Disney Resort hotel and ready for your first activity. This allows plenty of time for you to get off the plane, get through the airport, get to the Disney's Magical Express terminal, board your bus, travel to Walt Disney World Resort and make any necessary stops at other Disney Resort hotels before your arrival at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

While sometimes this trip can take less time, I always allow the full three hours so our trip doesn't begin with rushing or stressing. This time does not include time to travel to locations other than your Disney Resort hotel. So I think your dinner reservation would be cutting it a little bit too close for my comfort. For your first dinner, you may consider picking up something quick at Roaring Fork since it is open later or taking advantage of Private Dining in your room, which is magical room service that you can enjoy as you get settled in your home away from hom!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
