When it comes to The Most Magical Place on Earth, every day feels like a party! My family has celebrated so many big moments and special occasions at Walt Disney World, including a few very merry
unbirthdays. Whatever we're celebrating, I always feel like there's extra magic in the air - like the
parades and the
fireworks are all just for me!
Claire, you're celebrating not one but TWO (!) birthdays on your upcoming visit, so I can see why you'd want to sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your stay. As far as an in-room celebration, I suggest Disney's
Magical Florals & Gifts service. Just place your order online, and you'll have a selection of cupcakes, balloons, snacks, or Disney plushies delivered to your room as a sweet birthday surprise! I see that your visit is just a few days away (eeeek!), but this service does offer same- and next-day delivery, so there's still plenty of time to schedule yours.
Now, I'm not sure if you'll be hitting the parks at all during your stay, but I want to point out a few ways to celebrate right around your resort. First, be sure to get a complimentary celebration button for your daughter and your husband. You can grab these at the front desk of your resort and at most gift shops. This is a great way to let others know you're celebrating, and in my experience, buttons bring TONS of well-wishes from Disney Cast Members and guests alike!
Finally, if you've made an
Advance Dining Reservation for a celebratory birthday dinner, be sure to check in ahead of time through your
My Disney Experience app. This option should appear about 20 minutes before your reservation time, and will give you the chance to let the Cast Members know that you're celebrating a special occasion.
