We will be staying at CBR in ten days. I"m lost about tipping do I have to let bell boys take my luggage to my room are can we do it? Also how much should I tip mousekeepers? Should I tip when kids go on a pirate cruise and when we take carriage ride?

Gratuities is a very personal area.  They are certainly not expected at Walt Disney World but as with any other service industry those that help to make the magic for the guests on a daily basis appreciate being recognized for hard work and effort.  We have always done just that for housekeepers who take the extra time to make and leave the towel animals on our beds or leave the extra shampoo bottles when we need them.  If your children have a fabulous experience on a pirate cruise you can recognize the lead "pirates" by leaving a small thank you.  This would also be the case for the carriage ride driver etc.  Feel comfortable that hands will not be out every time you turn around but if you do meet someone who does the extra it is a nice gesture of thanks.

If you are comfortable taking your own luggage to your room you are certainly not obligated to use the bell staff for this.  We often do it even at the deluxe resorts just so we are not waiting for them to deliver it to the room
