We are staying at CBR in a preferred room and I wanted to know if any of those rooms come without the 5th sleeper and if so what is in place of the 5th sleeper bed? Thank you!

    Hi Andrew! Welcome to planDisney.

You are going to love your stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! The pastel buildings, island music, and delicious Caribbean-inspired dining and drinks instantly give me all the relaxing vacation vibes every time I visit. Soon you will be relaxing at Banana Cabana Pool Bar with a frosty drink in hand, living your best life!

The Preferred Room category at Disney's Caribbean Beach resort includes both 5th Sleeper rooms and 2 Queen Bed rooms. In the rooms without the pull-down bed, you'll find a slightly different configuration of furniture, with a credenza that holds the refrigerator in the center and drawers on either side. If you visit the "Room Rates" tab on Disney Caribbean Beach Resort's webpage, scroll down to Preferred Room and then click "View Photos." If you look carefully at the photos, you'll be able to see the differences; the green bench is the pull-down bed. You can also use the drop-down menu to view 5th Sleeper and Standard rooms to get a sense of the differences.

If you would like to request a room without the 5th sleeper, you can do so by calling the Disney Reservations Center at (407) 939-1936. Wait times are busier than usual right now, so I like to brew a cup of tea and bring something to multi-task while I wait (and enjoy the Disney hold music!).

Enjoy your stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Andrew! I highly recommend a visit to Disney's Riviera Resort (which is right next door) during your stay. This resort hotel features gorgeous Mediterranean theming with some historic Disney details harkening back to Walt Disney's time on the Riviera. Plus, their dining options are fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and please come back and see us if we can answer any more questions for you. As you plan and dream, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and planning tips. Have the best time!

    Wishing you much magic,
