Staying at CBR in October-never stayed there before. Are most of the standard rm. views of the woodlands surrounding CBR? Taking my parents for their 1st trip to WDW-trying to keep a budget though. Didn't know if water view fee was worth it at CBR.

    Hi Rebecca,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I think you have made the right decision.  The "water" view sure is tempting, and I understand that desire to have the stay perfect in every way!  However, I have found that in the moderates you will not have a balcony, so any view will have the outdoor walkway running by it (so we tend to keep the sheer drapes closed for a bit of privacy).  There are no chairs outside the rooms for you to sit and enjoy the view in anyhow, so I really don't see a great argument to to upgrade to the water view.

Personally I'd take the few dollars you save and buy some extra souvenirs!

    Have a great time.
