Staying at CBR. Going to MK 2 days and will leave 4 afternoon naps. Will have a car. Should we drive to and from parks? Take Disney bus? Or take the busses in the mornings but drive back in the afternoons? Any suggestions? Traveling w/ 21 mo & 4 yr ol

    Hi Laurie,

This is a great question, yet one that is based on personal preference. While we have never driven a car or rented while at Walt Disney World, I do know lots of people who prefer to do that for the convenience factor. Since you are a guest at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to park at the theme parks for free. So, keep that in mind. Driving to and from the parks can be quicker than waiting on a bus and you are on your own schedule and not waiting for transportation, so this might be the way to go, especially with napping kids.

One thing to keep in mind is that the parking for Magic Kingdom is at the Transportation and Ticket Center and will require a bit more walking either to the tram or directly to the Ferry or Monorail to ride over to Magic Kingdom's main entrance. At the other parks, the lots are a bit closer to the main entrances, but still might require a bit of a walk depending on where you park.

I hope this helps you decide what is best for your family. Have a magical trip!
