We will be staying at CBR in March 2022 with two adults and a 4 and 2 year old. What section do you suggest that we request? We booked one of the rooms with a 5th sleeper. We hope to get a first floor room. It would be nice to be close to Skyliner.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Callie. I'm so very excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! And with little ones in tow! You are sure to have a magical stay.

You're going to love experiencing the Disney Resorts Collection. When you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you stay IN the magic, even after you've left the theme parks! Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my family's absolute favorites from the Disney Resorts Collection. We enjoy the tropical atmosphere and the laidback island vibe. And my kids rank the Fuentes del Morro Pool as one of the very best in all of Walt Disney World Resort!

You ask an excellent question. I recommend that you request a ground floor room in the Jamaica section of the resort. The Jamaica section is just a short walk away from both the Skyliner station and Old Port Royale - super convenient, especially with young children! You can make these room requests when you complete the Online Check-In Service process on My Disney Experience. As a mom of three, I highly recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. There have been many a Disney night that we have wheeled our sleeping kids into our ground floor room with our double stroller and transferred them quietly into bed!

Speaking of a double stroller, it was an absolute must-have for my family's Disney vacations when my kiddos were little. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire quickly! Even if your 4-year old has outgrown using a stroller at home, they'll be glad to have a place to rest during your pixie-dusted adventures. Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks, but as I mentioned earlier, my kids often fell asleep on the bus ride back to our resort. We were always glad to have a stroller on hand from the bus stop to our room! You are welcome to bring your own stroller from home as long as it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. You may also want to consider renting a stroller from ScooterBug, Disney's Featured Rental Provider. This Orlando-based company will deliver a stroller right to your hotel. How convenient is that?

I hope this was helpful, Callie. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
