Hi! Staying at CBR w/ DH & 3 kiddos in June. Which bldg/rms do you recommend to be near playground/sand plus other amenities? Can fireworks be seen from anywhere in the resort? 1st visit for us all - SOO excited!! Thanks for your help! Love the panel!

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your question!  I had the opportunity to tour Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort back in February, and it was beautiful!  All of the rooms have been recently renovated, as well at their main Old Port Royale swimming pool, it looks amazing!

You didn't say if you have a standard or a preferred room booked so here are my suggestions for both:
Preferred - I would request Martinique building 24, this will put you about equal distance between the main building and the playground, there will be beaches in either direction of your building.

If you have booked standard, I would request either Martinique building 22 or Jamaica building 44.  Each of these buildings has a playground close by, as well as a beach and bus stop.

Keep in mind that Disney does their best to honor requests, but they are not guaranteed.

As for fireworks, you may catch a few glimpses of the Illuminations fireworks that are a displayed from Epcot, but it certainly won't be the same!

Have a great time on your first trip!  My favorite tip for first time visitors is to be sure to take a family "Mickey Ice Cream Bar Time-Out".  When the family begins to melt down from the crowds, lines, heat and gets overall a little cranky (parents too), take a time out and grab some ice cream (or another treat), and simply sit back and people watch.  A 15 minute break in the middle of a busy day can really recharge an overwhelmed group!

    Hope this helps!
