Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, D Leah. We're happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels. We love the lush landscaping and the laidback, island vibe! I just know you'll have a magical stay there.
The 5th Sleeper Rooms are a perfect, economical fit for my family of five. Not only is the child-size pull-down bed convenient, but it's also super cute with a backdrop of Mickey Mouse lounging in a hammock under a Caribbean evening sky. Complimentary bed rails are available at all Disney Resort hotels, but unfortunately, they are not designed for the child-size pull-down bed. I completely sympathize with your concern; my oldest son is a wild sleeper too! As a precaution, I've laid additional pillows on the floor just below the child-size pull-down bed, but my son has never fallen out. I suppose he sleeps more soundly at the Walt Disney World Resort because of all the adventure-filled days we experience in the theme parks! If you wish to have your son sleep in one of the Queen-sized beds instead, you can certainly request bed rails from the Front Desk.
In addition to the child-size pull-down bed, you can expect to have two chairs in the 5th Sleeper Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. When the child-size pull-down bed is stowed away, the bench underneath provides extra seating!
Your January vacation is the perfect time to check out the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts. From Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you can simply hop on the new
Disney Skyliner to visit this celebration of the visual, performing, and culinary arts!
I hope this was helpful, D Leah. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
