We are staying at the CBR in February 2017 and have an 8:20am breakfast reservation at Tusker House in AK on Sunday, Feb. 5. How do we get to the the restaurant in time if the buses don't start running until 8:15am? Thanks.

    Hi Pam!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. An early breakfast reservation in the theme parks is my favorite way to start a Disney day and Tusker House is one of my favorites. I love to get in the park early before most of the crowd arrives and it's a great chance to get family pictures in the park without crowds behind you! Generally, complimentary resort transportation begins one hour prior to theme park opening. Often, there are early buses available for Guests enjoying early dining reservations, but they are not always available early enough to accommodate an 8:20 a.m. reservation.

I recommend that you stop by your Lobby Concierge at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel the day before your reservation to determine what time the buses will start running on the day of your reservation. If you are taking a bus, I recommend that you budget one hour of transportation time to get to your breakfast. If buses are not running early enough for your breakfast, the Concierge will be able to arrange a taxi cab for you for the next morning to take you from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom for your breakfast. We had to take a taxi from our hotel to Epcot last week for our early breakfast at Garden Grill and it worked out beautiful to get us to a fantastic early breakfast!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
