Staying @ CBR in Feb. Have reserved a standard room. Just found out about making a room/building request. Am considering upgrading to water room; do they provide a view of lake? We don't want to overlook a pool, just lake if possible. Maybe Aruba?

    Hi Gretchen!

Located in the Epcot area, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is the largest Moderate Resort on Disney property. It features distinct villages named after Caribbean Islands. Many rooms are decorated in a subtle Finding-Nemo theme while a limited-quantity are Pirate-themed. The latter feature pirate-ship beds and swashbuckling decor.

Indeed you can request a particular area of your resort when making room requests at any Disney Resort Hotel. Please keep in mind that Cast Members will try to accommodate your preferences based on resort occupancy when you arrive on property. However, there is no guarantee your room request will be honored.

If you decide to upgrade to a Water Room View but prefer avoiding a room overlooking the pool(s), please be very specific in requesting a room with views of Barefoot Bay. Good choices can be had in both the island of Aruba and the island of Jamaica. Excellent locations for bay-view rooms include 4245 to 4252 in the island of Jamaica, and 5253 to 5264 in the island of Aruba. Again, there is no guarantee your request will be met, but it certainly doesn't hurt to notate your resort reservation.

Wishing you a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
