Hi there, Robert! Welcome back to planDisney - it's been a while! We're so happy you've come by to see us again. Let's grab a cold beverage and go on island time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
I've got to tell you, Robert,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has been one of my favorite places in the whole wide world for years now. Our first stay there was when my son was little, and I just fell in love with it. The colorful buildings and laid-back island vibe are so relaxing. Plus, there's nothing better than sinking your toes in the sand after a long day at the Theme Parks!
And now that Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hosts the main hub of the
Disney Skyliner, this gorgeous Resort hotel has gotten even better! It's so convenient to board your gondola here and fly non-stop to
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
EPCOT. And getting to the Skyliner station is as easy as an island breeze. The Barbados village is a little bit down the road from the main Disney Skyliner station, probably about a 10-minute walk or so depending on which building your room is in. If you're staying in the Martinique village, your best bet is likely to head over to the station just on the other side of
Disney's Riviera Resort rather than going to the main hub closer to the Resort hotel entrance. Again, depending on your specific room location, I'd estimate a walk of about 10 minutes. Both of those villages are the closest to Old Port Royale, the heart of the Resort hotel and home of all the shopping,
dining, and the splash-tastic fun of the
Fuentes del Morro pool, so they're both in a great location.
Robert, I hope this helps you plan a high-flying, sun-splashed adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort. And please stop by and see us again real soon if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
