Staying at CBR 4/12-4/17. Family of 6 including infant. Wondering which building we should request would like to be close to transportation and main pool, but not pay for preferred room. Oldest son has cerebral palsy, so do not want to add extra steps.

    Hello, Jonathan,

Your trip is just a few months away; aren't you finding the excitement of going to Walt Disney World getting more and more each day! When staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I'd look at buildings 13, 22, 23, 36, or 37 as they are all near a bus stop and a quiet pool. Sadly, the preferred rooms are the ones closest to the main pool. Of the buildings I suggested, I think 22 and 23 are the best compromise that would still keep you near a bus stop and get you as close as possible to the main pool.  The resort also has an internal bus system that you could rely upon to move about the resort easily.

I would also encourage you to include a notation in your reservation about your family's needs. This can be done by calling Walt Disney World at (407) 939-5277 or through your travel agent (if you are working with one).  Since the buildings in the resort don't have elevators, I would think you'd want to make sure and request a ground floor room, too.

Wishing you a pixie-dusted vacation!  Please let us know if we can help again.
