Staying at C.Beach Resort 1/27-1/31; Skyliner will be closed 2 of those days. We have a car rental. What is the easiest/fastest way to get to MK and HS from our resort? Is it worth it to drive and park...or utilize buses? First timers with 2 young kids!

Hey there Brittany, and welcome back to planDisney!

You and your family will have the most magical time during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The “first-time” memories created during your stay will stay with you forever.

I have utilized the available Disney transportation options and have rented a car (on many occasions). In my opinion, driving to the theme parks is convenient because not only is Standard theme park parking included (for Disney Resort guests), but you will find that at the end of a long day with the little ones, you will welcome the calmness of the ride back to your resort. Of course, we have pivoted on occasion when it comes to Magic Kingdom, where riding the bus might be less hectic, especially at the end of the day.

Getting to both theme parks is easy whether you utilize the Disney Bus Transportation or drive your rental car and park at the theme parks. Remember, the Minnie Van Service is always an option as well.

We are here if you have additional questions; let us know how we can help.

    Have a magical time!
