    We are staying at the CB Resort. A friend will be babysitting our 2 kids (3/5yrs) Dec. 5th so we can enjoy the EMH. Can you suggest a convenient table service restaurant for her to take the kids? Looked into Shutters, but could you suggest others? Thanks!

    Hi Julie!

         What a treat!  While I love hanging out with my boys as much as possible, a night off is fantastic!  Of course, Shutters is the most convenient, but a little boring for the kiddos.  Would you feel comfortable allowing your friend to take them to Downtown Disney?  It is only two miles away by car, or about 20 minutes using the Disney bus.  My two favorite restaraunts at Downtown Disney are the Rainforest Cafe and the T-Rex Cafe.  Both are super kid friendly and loads of fun! 

         If you don't want her to leave the resort with the kids, then I do have one more alternative.  What about ordering pizza and having a "slumber party?"  The resort offers pizza delivery and can even bring drinks and desserts.  Afterwards, the kids can go for a quick swim in one of the nine heated pools, play on the playground, or watch a movie in the room.  Have a fabulous night out!!!
