Staying at CB and have res.at 930 for HDD (FW) our first night. Would rather not go to MK to catch a boat (don't want kids to see MK and get off course:) What is another way to get there how will we get back when it is over since it will be late? Thanks!

    Hi Kim!!

Thank you for question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!

The best way I can think of for you to get from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is to catch a bus at the Caribbean Beach Resort to Downtown Disney.  Then once you get to Downtown Disney you could catch a Disney Bus to the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  This would definitely avoid your children seeing the Magic Kingdom.

If you were to do this I would highly recommend leaving the Caribbean Beach Resort by 7:30 (or 8:00 at the latest) to allow enough travel time to Downtown Disney and then from Downtown Disney to Fort Wilderness.

Another option would be to catch the bus to whichever park has Evening Extra Magic Hours (assuming it isn't the Magic Kingdom) and you could always take that bus back from Fort Wilderness to head back to the Caribbean Beach!

Hope this helps and that you have a magical trip!!
