    Hi. Staying at CB and with the free disney meal plan. I heard this resort is huge and a preferred location was recommended. Some places assign the room location while on the meal plans. Is there anything I can do to see if I can get the preferred location?

    The Preferred rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort cost extra and you need to specifically book one in order to be guaranteed that location. The difference between Preferred and Standard rooms are building location. The Caribbean Beach is a large Resort and some of the rooms are located a considerable distance from the food court, shops and main pool. By reserving a Preferred room, you are booking one closer to Old Port Royale (which is the main activities area). The walk between some of the standard rooms and the Old Port Royale can be 10 minutes long or so. If distance is important to you, you may want to reserve a Preferred room which would be located in either Martinique or Trinidad North.
