Staying in Cars section at art of Animation in Nov. Would like to know what buildings have been set aside as pet friendly buildings as I would like to stay in a building without a lot of dogs.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nancy!

I'm so happy to hear you'll be staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in November. My family had a magical stay there last year, and we loved exploring the resort and seeing our favorite movies come alive in the different sections. I think you're going to be saying "Ka-Chow!" when you pull into the Cars section, which features so many great Disney details and the awesome Cozy Cone pool.

As much as I love the Disney dogs like Pluto and his pals, I am seriously allergic, and I'm happy to report that the Walt Disney World Resort does a great job managing their dog-friendly resorts so that both pup lovers and those who need to keep their distance can both have a storybook vacation.

The best thing to do is call Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and ask to add a request to your reservation. Let the Cast Member know that you need to be in an area of the resort that is pet-free, and they will make a note for the room assigner to place you in the dog free section. It's best to make the request this way rather than requesting a specific building so the Cast Members understand the reason behind the request and can then assign you the right room for your needs.

I hope this helps and that you're able to easily make your request so that your vacation is practically perfect in every way. I'm wishing you so much festive fun during your November visit to Walt Disney World. There is so much holiday magic in the air at that time, so be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog as you count down to your visit so you can read all about new experiences and offerings that might sprinkle even more pixie dust on your vacation. Please come back and see us if you have any more questions as you plan and dream!

Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
    Robyn
