We are staying at Carribean resort in a king bed room. We would like to be near skyliner. If we ask for room near lobby, is it possible to use riveria skyliner? Or is it not accessible from that resort via walking?

Why hello again Christina, and welcome back to planDisney!

It's incredible to think that you've spent over a decade asking our Panel questions and have connected with dozens of us over the years as we've evolved to include more Disney Destinations and deeper access to be able to conduct our research for frequent Disney guests just like yourself! This week I've ventured up atop Disney's Riviera Resort in order to enjoy Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera and step out for a moment to watch guests from above as they make their way to the nearby Disney Skyliner station, and am happy to provide you with my observations:

Guests staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort can and most certainly do make the trek over to take the Disney Skyliner at Disney's Riviera Resort station, especially if they find their rooms on the farther reaches of the Martinique and Aruba sections of the resort.

I noticed that far more guests tend to choose to make their way around Barefoot Bay to proceed along the beachfront and below the Disney Skyliner gondola flightpath, across the water from the main lobby at Old Port Royale and Centertown Market. (Though it takes slightly longer from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort lobby building, I personally prefer to head in the opposite direction for the great views strolling past Disney's Riviera Resort to grab a quick pastry or even gelato from Primo Piatto along the way.)
