    We're staying at Carribean BR & having bfast @ Chef Mickey's followed by a day at MK. What would be the best transportation option for the day ... resort shuttle or drive ourselves?

    Hello, Janet! Welcome to the Moms Panel! You did not specify a time for your early morning dining reservation, but if it is early in the morning, you will be able to catch a bus which will take you directly to the Contemporary Resort. Many of our guests have early morning reservations and park buses are not yet running. However, there are buses which begin running between 6:30-6:45 a.m. for those guests with early morning reservations. Should your time be early enough that park buses are not yet running, you may still head on down to your bus stop and look for a bus whose marquee may read one of the following: "CHARACTER", "SPECIAL", or "DINING". Now, if your reservation is late morning, the park buses should already be in full swing. In this situation, I would catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the Monorail System which will take you to the Contemporary. Once you are finished with breakfast, you can hop back on the Monorail System from inside the Contemporary and make your way back to the Magic Kingdom. At the end of the day, you can just catch a bus back to your resort. Hey, you are on vacation, so let Disney do all the driving!
