We are staying at the Carribean Beach Resort in September and would like to know if you can walk to any of the parks from there or if you have to take transportation. Also if you had a choice of buildings to stay in there which one would be best? Thanks.

Your trip is right around the corner, Shannon; I bet you can practically taste the excitement!  Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a great place to call home while you're on property.  I love the bright colors and steel drum band music there.  As for transportation to the parks, you should not plan on walking.  While it would be possible, it would not be recommended.  It's a long way!  As for choice of buildings, my personal preference would be for one of the preferred buildings (Trinidad North or Martinique).  If you don't want to spend the extra money for a preferred building, Aruba or Jamaica will get you fairly close to the resort's hub, where the pool and food court are located.  Enjoy your stay in the islands!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
