Staying @ Carribbean Resort w our 8yo & 1yo & will have a stroller. Thinking about getting a sit & stand stroller, but are looking for opinions on whether this is worth it. Also, is it easier to just drive your own car to the park instead of us

    Hi Amy!

We have an 8 year old, 6 year old, and a 3 year old, and we brought along our single stroller on our last Disney vacation.  It was actually our first vacation with a single stroller since 2006!  I'll be honest, our 8 year old did end up occasionally hopping in when it wasn't occupied.  Each of our children ended up trading off for a ride every once and again.

One of the things that you might run into with a sit and stand would be the weight/height limit.  We don't have a sit and stand, but I just did a quick look, and I see that many have a weight limit of 40-45 lbs for the back.  I know for my son, if we tired out, a quick sit, snack, and a sip (keep hydrated!)  was sometimes all he needed to pep up a bit.  We also used those times to plan out what they wanted to do next and talk about things that they might want to revisit.

I think if your son is used to walking, you should be ok, but that will definitely depend on your son.

    Have a magical vacation!
