    We are staying at the Caribbean Resort and have an 8:00pm reservations for The Spirtit of Aloha at the Polynesian. We don't have a car. My concern is transportation back. If we take a taxi will our 8 year old need a car seat? She is under 4'9"

    We took a cab to the Polynesian from Caribbean Beach Hotel.  We asked the resort to call a cab, and requested a car seat.(free upon request)  Once the cab arrived we negotiated a flat fee to the Polynesian Resort, when that was agreed upon we jumped in the cab and off we went.  We had missed our last reservation the previous year, because it was off season, and the buses weren't running as frequently.   Be careful when using the cabs around Walt Disney World, if there are some that are not so honest.  I would recommend only using the Yellow Cabs with meters.  Be sure to get the number from the concierge of the company to call when you are ready to return.  We have never paid more than $20 to get from resort to another resort.  This also included 15% tip.  Gas has increased in price, since our last trip in October 2007.  Have a great trip!!
