We are staying at the Caribbean Resort in late September and planning on spending a day at each of the parks and meals at Fort Wilderness Resort, Boardwalk resort and Downtown Disney. How do I get to these places and roughly how long will it take?

    Hi Denise!

You will find that Disney Transportation will be able to take you wherever you need to go!  Downtown Disney is easy.  You can take a bus directly from your resort to Downtown Disney.  That ride should take about 20 minutes.  For your visit to Fort Wilderness, you'll need to take a bus to Magic Kingdom (from your resort or from another park) and then hop on the boat to Disney's Fort Wilderness.  Disney's Boardwalk can be managed several ways, but I'll suggest heading to Downtown Disney and then transferring to a Boardwalk bus from there.

It's always suggested that you allow an hour for transportation time, though it doesn't normally take that long.  Any time you will be doing a transfer (like to Fort Wilderness or Disney's Boardwalk), I would absolutely account for an hour (or more) to get me there on time.

    Have a magical vacation!
