Hi Jill, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It’s so nice to hear from you again!
You have a few options for sterilizing your baby’s bottles while you’re staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. There are microwaves in the Island Markets located in the Aruba, Jamaica, and Martinique sections of the resort, and you would be welcome to bring a microwave-friendly bottle sterilizer and use it there. When my Mouseketeers were babies, I found the sterilizing bags that could be used in the microwave very convenient, so you may want to order some of those to be used during your vacation.
I recommend calling Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and making two requests. First, request a room close to an Island Market; let the Cast Member know you need the microwave often in order to sterilize baby bottles. Additionally, it may be possible to request a microwave for your resort room. Availability is very limited, and there is typically an additional fee, but if you let the Cast Member know that you’re using the microwave for health reasons, they will do their best to accommodate you if it’s possible.
Jill, you’ll also be able to sterilize bottles using the microwaves in the
Baby Care Centers located in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Stop in at Guest Services or consult a park map to determine the location of each center. In addition to the microwave, you’ll find facilities for feeding, changing, and calming babies, as well as supplies like diapers and formula available for purchase.
I hope you make the most magical memories with your baby next month. Be sure to take lots of pictures, and enjoy watching your little one’s face light up with joy and enchantment!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
