I will be staying at the Caribbean. What are the best ways to use the transportation to get to the different parks and downtown Disney?

We are great fans of Disney transportation.  In fact, we've never rented a car on any of our Walt Disney World trips!

At your resort, there are bus stops throughout the Caribbean Beach Resort.  At these bus stops, you'll find various buses that are marked with their destination:  Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and the water parks (sometimes they share buses).  The buses will stop to allow guests to unload first then they will let waiting guests load the bus.  The buses are complimentary and no identification is required to use them. When you arrive at your destination, take note of the location so you know when to find it when you are ready to leave to return to your resort. If you need assistance, just ask a nearby cast member who will be glad to help you.

The buses run about every 20 minutes, and I'd allow 45-60 minutes to arrive at your destination. The buses also run approximately an hour before the parks open as well as an hour after they close.

Just an fyi, there are not buses that go from resort to resort.  If you'd like to visit another resort from yours, you need to take a park bus then transfer to the appropriate resort by bus, boat, or monorail (depending on the location). Of course, you can certainly always take a taxi which will speed up the transportation time.
