We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort and was wondering which section would be best to stay at?

Hello, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Barbara! You’re going to love the theming and amenities at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

This Resort hotel is expansive, featuring 6 villages all named after Caribbean islands which circle the 45-acre Barefoot Bay. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has two community areas, The Custom House, featuring the lobby check-in areas, Concierge Services, Bell Services and Disney’s Magical Express. The second, called Old Port Royale or Centertown, features the food court, a table service restaurant, arcade, main pool, gift shop and marina.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers an internal bus shuttle from all 6 villages to the two community areas. If the convenience of proximity to Old Port Royale is of importance to you, may I suggest booking a room in the closest villages, within an easy walk, such as Martinique (buildings 26, 25, 24) and Trinidad North (buildings 31,32, 33). Please note that rooms in these villages are of the preferred category and are slightly more in cost per night.

You are welcome to use the internal bus shuttle or, if you have your own vehicle, drive your way to Old Port Royale. Keeping this in mind, you may wish to consider the new ‘Pirate Rooms’ in Trinidad South, which have so many fascinating, authentically replicated details, you’ll feel as if you’re right in the middle of the popular Disney movie. These rooms also cost a little more per night.

Barbara, get ready for an unforgettable, magical vacation with all that awaits at Walt Disney World Resort!
