We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort and wonder if the rooms have refrigerators to keep perishables safe

Ahoy, Jeff! Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you’re setting sail for a Walt Disney adventure and a stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort in just a few days. To quote a very famous mouse: “Oh boy!” Let’s jump right in and get you the information you need before you leave port.

I’m happy to share that every room at Caribbean Beach Resort is equipped with a mini-fridge (the resort may refer to it as a beverage cooler). It can cool to 41 degrees Fahrenheit and is approximately 18 inches wide by 25 inches high by 22 inches deep. I’ve found that it’s a great size for leftovers, beverages, and other snacks we’ve brought back to our room after exploring the Vacation Kingdom on past voyages.

Caribbean Beach is a fantastic moderate resort, and it’s especially beloved for the pirate-themed Fuentes del Morro Pool. There’s no doubt it’s one of the best hotel pools at Walt Disney World, but I think this resort has some amazing (dare I say underrated) dining options. You won’t want to miss the Caribbean flavors of Sebastian’s Bistro or the delicious cocktails at Banana Cabana, and even the quick-service location, Centertown Market, has great Latin-inspired dishes. I enthusiastically recommend the Arroz Mamposteao.

I hope this information helps you navigate your stay at Walt Disney World and that you have a truly wonderful vacation, Jeff. If you have any other questions, you’re mateys at planDisney are always happy to help!

    Yo ho and magical travels!
