We’ll be staying in Caribbean Beach Resort for a week. We have a dinner reservation at Boma in Animal Kingdom at 8:00pm on our last day in WDW. Then we plan to rent a car to continue our trip in Orlando. Can we get a rental car in WDW? How can we go there?

    Hi Yang-Ping.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help planning your vacation! Boma - Flavors of Africa is one of my family's favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort! You are going to have an amazing dinner there. Be sure to try the salmon entrée and the "Zebra Domes" dessert.

You can get rental cars at Disney's Car Care Center. They offer rentals through Alamo Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental. The hours of operation are as follows:

    6:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday - Friday
     6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday - Sunday

You can reserve your car by calling (407) 824-3470. They offer a complimentary shuttle service which will pick you up at the Caribbean Beach Resort and will bring you to the Car Care Center. I recommend picking up your car before your dinner at Boma - Flavors of Africa. This way, you can drive yourselves to dinner and you won't have to deal with transportation from resort to resort, which is tricky when using Disney buses. You can simply tell the Animal Kingdom Lodge gate attendant that you are dining at Boma and they will tell you where to park. Be sure to bring your confirmation number with you just in case you need it. If you plan on dropping your rental car off somewhere other than Walt Disney World Resort at the end of your trip, make sure that you sign up for a one-way rental.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
